Secrets to Instantly Conceal Hair Loss and Cover Bald Spots

Unfortunately, hair loss has no cure. So if you're dealing with baldness or thinning hair, a hair transplant is the only long term fix. There are currently many alternatives to surgery, but each one takes time to reduce thinning hair.

Fortunately, there are products that instantly conceal hair loss, and cover bald spots. These products are indistinguishable from existing hair and create totally natural look.

Keratin Hair Fibers
Hair consists of an amino acid called keratin, and so do these carefully dyed and static charged synthetic fibers. After being sprinkled on the hairfibers bind to current hair strands (even fine, semi invisible ones) and make for natural cover for bald spots and thinning hair. The major benefit is that the keratin fibers appear to be small hair particles, so when applied the look is very natural and undetectable.

Hair Thickeners / Fatteners
This type of hair loss concealer makes each hair follicle appear thicker, and denser. A thicker hair strand covers more scalp surface and reduces bald spots. Hair thickeners are usually a shampoo or conditioner, but there are some thicker hair scalp treatments as well. This is a very easy way to hide hair loss and is best used with very small bald spots.

Spray on Hair
Also called "hair in a can", or even less flatteringly "hair spray paint, this product simply camouflages bald spots by making them the same color as surrounding hair. The most popular brand, Good Looking Hair (GLH), has been a staple of television shopping for many years. Spray on hair is easy to apply, reasonably priced, and works well.

Topical Shading / Scalp MakeUp
Topical shadings are applied directly to the skin of the scalp in order to mask the appearance of balding. It's a cosmetic very similar to make up that comes in a variety of colors to blend with existing hair. This kind of product is often favored by Hollywood makeup artists for its ease of use and effectiveness.

Any hair loss concealer can be used in conjunction with other hair growth treatment products including scalp treatments like Minoxidil, and shampoos or hair growth vitamins. No reason to simply accept thinning hair when there are several reasonably priced quick fixes to the problem.
